A Different Kind of Tree House
Unless the house offers soil or water the roots do not go through rather they spread laterally along the roof much like bonsai grow in shallow pots. This phenomenon is also seen in Alaska on top of 'bush' cabins. Earth and seed carried by wind settling on the roofs. Quite lovely.
